Summary: Tank Day at Axvall! Sometimes the museum take some of their tanks for a spinn, and when would be a better time then their 40th anniversary? Sadly this was the last visit to Axvall, they closed down a week later. But no harm done, in 2011 a larger museum combinig this museum, a large military vehicle collection and even some ex-Swedish Air Force vehicles will open their gates. Therefore everyone could still enjoy this special occasion.

NOTE! The armour Museum is presently closed for expansion & relocation to Strängnäs 80 km SW of Stockholm. The new museum "ARSENALEN" will open during 2011 in Strängnäs some 80 km SW of Stockholm. "Arsenalen" is planned to have a large indoor exhibition, a tank running ground & an arena for outdoor displays. Please check out the website, avaliable in English & German.
