Summary: At 187 mtrs in length, cruiser HMS Belfast is truly a contrast, moored on the River Thames between the Tower of London & the very modern City Hall. Being the last large calibre warship on display in Europe make it hard not to visit. This historic ship invites you to all quarters, walk down the gangway to the boiler room, gun turrets and the bridge high up over the embankment.
Rating: Yet another of the Imperial War Museums impressive branches. This & nearby IWM London is worth the trip alone, they make a lasting impression.
